Randy Rogers P’02, ’04 to be Remembered in Endowed Scholarship

Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr has announced the establishment of a newly endowed scholarship. The Rogers family has generously established the Randy Rogers P’02, P’04 Memorial Scholarship that will support a student with financial need.

Randy’s personality and passion will forever be woven into the fabric of Sacred Heart Academy and its field hockey program. Her impact went far beyond the field hockey field. Randy brought her love of family, strong faith and dedication into everything she did on and off the field hockey field. Randy guided the SHA field hockey program for 8 years which included the 2001 Athletic Association of Catholic Academies (AACA) championship. Randy’s daughters, Rory and Leagh, were members of that championship team.

Through the generosity of Tom Rogers and his children (Rory Rogers Callaghan, Leagh Rogers Harrington, Michael Rogers, Thomas Rogers, Jr. and Casey Rogers), this scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity to celebrate and honor Randy and all that she meant to those in the Rogers family and the Sacred Heart community. This scholarship will be awarded to a freshman and recur until she graduates.

The Rogers family plans to grow this scholarship through various events, gatherings and other donor opportunities. Those who wish to support the Randy Rogers P’02, P’04 Memorial Scholarship may do so by making a gift on SHA’s website at or sending a check to Sacred Heart Academy and noting that it is in support of the Randy Rogers Scholarship. For any questions about making a gift or the various ways in which to make one, please contact Vic D’Ascenzo in the Advancement Office at or 610-527-3915 x223.
