Belgian photographer and documentary filmmaker Eva Verbeeck spoke to the middle school about her work on a project called ‘America’s Girls’. Eva is traveling around the United States to honestly represent young women through her photography. Her work opens up the question of beauty ideals for girls and Eva talked about how she sees the beauty in girls when she captures their dreams and passions in her photos.

The middle school learned about being a professional photographer and Eva gave them tips for photography and life as a girl. She encouraged them to find their voice, support each other and be there for their friends.

Eva also share her projects from around the world as a commission photographer.
