At Sacred Heart Academy, our program is rooted in faith, intellect, service, community and personal growth. Through our Five Goals students are encouraged to take risks, reach beyond their comfort level and expect more from themselves as lifelong learners and responsive leaders. Education extends beyond the classroom and our students seek opportunities and share experiences both as individuals and as a school community.
While I have met my best friends here at school, I have also met myself. I have discovered my true potential and have been handed the tools to let my talents show. I am surrounded by supportive peers and encouraging teachers.

Sacred Heart Academy's 8th-grade attended the 12th annual Middle School Diversity Conference at the Haverford School. Over thirty-eight local schools attended the conference. One of SHA's students, Paige Redmond received honorable mention for her poem about diversity.

Middle school students learned from guest speaker, Eva Verbeeck, a Belgian photographer and documentary filmmaker. Eva is working on a project called ‘America’s Girls’.

Mrs. Cooney's classes performed history plays depicting pivotal US and World History events during the Civil War, World War II, Civil Rights, and the Middle Ages. Race and Identity, Points of View, Character Motivation and Renaissance Italy were all acted out by the groups.
