A Season to Celebrate: Winter Sports Achievements at SHA
Sacred Heart Academy’s winter sports teams celebrated a season marked by strong performances, individual honors, and continued growth across programs.
The swim team had an outstanding winter, highlighted by Ema R. '27's 3rd-place podium finish in the 100-yard backstroke at the AACA Swim & Dive Championships.
In addition, Ema R. '27, Gretchen R. '29, Siena W. '28, and Abby O. '27 achieved District 1 Swimming Championship qualifying times this season. Throughout the season, the swim team recorded numerous personal-best times, a testament to the athletes’ hard work, perseverance, and growth.
In basketball, Megan D. ’26 earned Honorable Mention AACA All-Star recognition. This honor reflects Megan’s talent, dedication, and impact on the court while competing in the highly competitive AACA, where all teams qualify for Districts.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of both the student-athletes and coaching staff and mark a successful and rewarding winter sports season for the SHA community.
