Tuition and Financial Aid

The Clarity application can take as little as 30 minutes, will not ask you redundant or irrelevant questions, and will even transfer tax documents directly from the IRS.  The Clarity application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. 

Step 1:
Indicate your intention to apply for financial aid on your application.

Step 2:
Visit the Clarity website to create and account.

Step 3:
Fill out and submit your application along with the  one-time (per family) $60 Clarity administrative fee. Indicate which schools you would like to receive your completed application.

Step 4:
Once you have submitted your application, please remember to return to your Dashboard as Sacred Heart Academy requires you to upload additional tax documentation including: Bank Statements (for all accounts), Mortgage Statements (if applicable), and Custody Agreements (if applicable).  

The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is November 17, 2025 for all applicants and for currently enrolled SHA families. Applications received after this date will be reviewed and assessed based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Users may also access the application in Spanish.

All Upper School applicants and rising 9th grade Sacred Heart students are welcome to apply for Honorary Scholarships. Award Criteria is noted with each Honorary Scholarship. 

• Meet the scholarship criteria
• Strong academic performance based upon grades and standardized test scores.
• Teacher Recommendations submitted during the Admission process must include one additional recommendation that can attest to a student's academic achievement and academic work ethic. Recommendation requests are sent from the Admission Checklist. Rising 9th grade SHA students will also need a recommendation from a current teacher or coach.
• Applicants must submit a short essay in response to two of the following prompts:

1. What are three of your most profound learning experiences? Where and when did they occur?

2. A non-profit foundation hires you as a consultant to determine how best to use $1 million to save the world. What is your plan?

3. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a type of technology that can help people learn, create, and solve problems. Some people think AI will make life easier, while others worry it might replace jobs or cause new problems. What do you think AI should be used for in the future, and how can kids your age get ready to use it in a smart and responsible way?

The short essay may not exceed 500 words. Please email your essay to Admissions@shabrynmawr.org. Write "Scholarship Essay" in the subject line. The deadline is December 1.

• An in-person interview can be scheduled during a visit day. Interviews are required for applicant as well as rising 9th grade SHA students.
