Priority Enrollment

For interested families, we offer a priority enrollment deadline of Friday, December 1, 2023. Completed K-8 student applications received by December 1 will receive decision notification by Friday, December 15. Priority enrollment consideration will also be given to siblings and daughters of alumna at this time. 

Effective January 1, 2024, a rolling admissions process will begin and K-8 application profiles will be reviewed upon completion on a space-available basis.

Online Application 

Applying to SHA is Supported by an Online Checklist
Our Sacred Heart Academy Portal (MySHA) will serve as your admission portal now, and will later convert into your parent portal once your daughter has enrolled. Parents/guardians will be instructed to create an account when you begin your daughter’s application, enabling you to view your admission checklist, and stay up-to-date with your progress. Your MySHA portal account will be updated daily, allowing you to know when your daughter’s admission profile has been completed.

Academic Records  

Available Electronically on Your Portal (MySHA) Checklist
The Release of Records Form authorizes your daughter’s current school to release her records to SHA. Please complete this form and give it to your daughter’s current school; her records will be sent directly to SHA and are kept confidential. Records should not be uploaded by parents.

Teacher Recommendation

Available Electronically on Your Portal (MySHA) Checklist
Parents/guardians are asked to submit an electronic Teacher Recommendation Form to your daughter’s current homeroom teacher. The recommendation form will be sent directly to Sacred Heart Academy, and the contents will be kept confidential. By submitting the request, you accept our confidentiality agreement. 

Parent Interview 

Understanding Your Daughter Through Your Eyes
As part of the application process, parents/guardians of applicants are required to complete a parent interview prior to your daughter's SHA for a Day Shadow Visit. This conversation will give you an opportunity to learn more about our curriculum, ask questions, and tell us more about your daughter.

Student Learning Assessment

Learning More About Your Young Daughter
As part of the application process, applicants are required to complete a student learning assessment once we have received all admission documentation. Student assessments are designed to provide an informative and comfortable introduction to our school and our teachers, while engaging the girls in activities. Assessments will be performed by the classroom teacher during your daughter's SHA for a Day  Shadow Visit.

Should your daughter apply to SHA when school is not in session, we will coordinate with a virtual or in-person experience. For students applying to be part of our Kindergarten program, a private on-campus visit and assessment will be arranged.
