Admissions Events
We look forward to meeting you! Please join us at one of our upcoming Admission Events to see what distinguishes Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr (SHA) from other schools. We're confident that you'll be inspired by our academic programs with a global perspective, the values that play out in everyday life on the hill, personal attention (1:7 teacher:student ratio), beautiful campus, and incredibly warm community.
Online Application
The MySHA Portal will serve as your admissions portal enabling you to stay updated with your Admissions Checklist and Admissions status. Parents/guardians will be asked to create an account when you begin your daughter’s application.
Academic Records
The Release of Records Form, located on the MySHA portal Checklist, authorizes your daughter’s current school to release her records to SHA. Please complete this form and give it to your daughter’s current school; her records will be sent directly to SHA and are kept confidential. Records should not be uploaded by parents.
Math and English/Language Arts Recommendations
Located on the MySHA portal Checklist, parents/guardians are asked to provide electronic Teacher Recommendation Forms to your daughter’s current teachers. The recommendation forms will be sent directly to Sacred Heart Academy, and the contents will be kept confidential.
Parent Interview
Parents/guardians of applicants are required to complete a parent interview prior to your daughter's SHA for a Day Visit. This conversation will give you an opportunity to learn more about our curriculum, ask questions, and tell us more about your daughter.
Student Interview/Assessment
Applicants are required to complete a student interview/assessment during their SHA for a Day visit. A conversation with our admissions team will give your daughter the opportunity to ask questions, and for us to get to know her as a student and person. Students will also complete short assessments in Math and Language Arts, guided by our faculty, to provide a current academic overview of their learning.
Shadow Days
There is no better way to experience SHA than spending the school day with us. Your daughter will enjoy amazing student-teacher interactions as well as the warmth and welcome of our student community.
The Admission Department will reach out to each Middle School applicant's family to schedule a Shadow Day.
