For the third time in her SHA athletic career, senior Kayleigh Doyle has been named the Main Line Times Athlete of the Week.
A co-captain on this year's SHoops team, Kayleigh has received Athlete of the Week accolades twice for basketball and once for cross country.
The starting varsity SHoops point guard since her freshman year, Kayleigh has had a stellar basketball career at Sacred Heart. And outstanding defensive player, this year she is averaging 11.7 points per game while dishing out nearly 7 assists. Earlier this season, she earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team of Jenkintown's Robert Hopf Holiday Basketball Tournament.
Kayleigh helped lead SHA to its fourth straight District 1 AA basketball championship recently, putting up big numbers in both playoff games. She and her teammates are now set to begin their bid for a state championship with their first game on Friday, March 6.
