Teams

The energy and school spirit of Sacred Heart Academy students is actively cultivated through a vibrant athletics program. As a member of the Athletics Association of Catholic Academies League and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Sacred Heart competes in 10 sports and sponsors a variety of intramurals. Whether cheering from the sidelines or engaging in physical play, Sacred Heart team players regularly enjoy postseason success at the District and State levels.

2017-2018 Sports Notes for Athletes

Tennis: Home and practice courts are at Paddcok Courts in Havertown.
Cross Country: Practices are on and off campus.
Volleyball: There will be open gyms in the summer, please contact the coach if interested.
Field Hockey: Please see field hockey home page for workout sessions prior to tryouts.
Golf: Practice and home course is at Paxon Hollow Country Club in Broomall.
Crew (Fall): Freshmen must have prior experience to participate in fall crew, approval of the coach is needed.
Basketball: There will be open gyms during the summer, please contact coach if you are interested.
Swimming: Practices are at Widener University, if your daughter swims for a club team, she may practice at her club pool.
Track: Track team practices at school, The Haverford College, The Haverford School, and Haverford Reserve.
Softball: Home field is Emlen Tunnel Field in Bryn Mawr.
Crew (Spring): Practices are after school in the fitness room and down the river.
