In Spring 2019, the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr, together with Head of School Deirdre Cryor, committed to renew the vision for our beloved school by engaging the whole-school community in a robust strategic planning process.

Strategic Long Range Process

The following plan represents a year of discovery, analysis and planning through group meetings with students, parents, faculty, staff, alumnae and board members. Data was carefully reviewed from multiple surveys, interviews, hours of discussion and group visioning deliberation.

The planning process encouraged open and honest evaluation of our external and internal environments, current strengths, opportunities and areas for improvement. Sacred Heart Academy benefited from the guidance and insight of outside professionals to facilitate the process.

This Plan document was adopted by the Board of Trustees as its October 22, 2020 meeting.

We are confident that our focus on the priorities and collaboration on the programs and action plans which support them, will ensure continued success in achieving Sacred Heart’s mission, keeping the academic program intellectually challenging, and empowering each student on her path to a brave heart, bold learning and meaningful connections.

You are on the right path, exactly where you are meant to be right now......and from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, of love.
